Global IP Net was originally named
Computer Software Associates, Inc. which was established in
1980. The company specializes in developing legal software,
primarily for Intellectual Property practitioners.
Early systems developed included billing,
accounting and docketing software for use on mini-computers.
These systems gave the company a reputation for reliable,
user-friendly software.
After the Windows revolution and the
release of Windows development technology, the GLOBAL IP
ESTIMATOR program was created, and became available in
October 1995. While the software itself was new, the
database and structure of the program were based on the
wealth of information and expertise accumulated over the
years.
The company now concentrates on maintaining
and enhancing GLOBAL IP ESTIMATOR. Other software programs
are no longer marketed.
Anthony de Andrade, the founder of the company and
lead developer of GLOBAL IP ESTIMATOR, has won prizes in
Mathematics from the University of Bombay, India, and holds
a M.S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology.
