Global IP Estimator requires Microsoft's Data Access Components. These are frequently already installed. However, there are many versions of these components, and problems can arise in their installation and use. With the initial installation of Global IP Estimator none of these components are installed. Depending on the error you encounter, we will point you to one or more of the links below. These files are to be downloaded and saved on your computer, and then run by double-clicking on the saved file name.

Important: Download and use these files only if we suggest that this may be necessary. Typically only one of these links will be suggested.

• Download Microsoft Data Access Components 2.5 SP2 ("mdac_typ.exe") (7.9 megabytes)

• Download Microsoft Jet 4.0 SP8 (from www.Microsoft.com)

The link below installs or re-installs certain reporting ".dll"s needed. Typically this will be needed if you want to do a WORD editable export.

• Download Global IP Estimator dlls ("globalipdll.exe") (0.5 megabytes)

The link below downloads the Crystal Report Viewer dll. Please place in your Windows System32 folder. You will need to register the dll. To register the dll, look for the regsvr32.exe file in your Windows System32 folder. Drag the icon for the crviewer.dll on top of the icon for regsvr32.exe. This will run the registration process. You should receive a message that the registration succeeded.

• Download Crystal Viewer dll ("crviewer.dll") (0.7 megabytes)

• Download Crystal Reports craxdrt.dll ("craxdrt.dll") (5.2 megabytes)
